At the Rise of the House, the Committee will hear testimony on H5640, a bill that would limit energy efficiency savings. We oppose this bill.
The Committee will also hear testimony on H5536, legislation that allows municipal aggregation, also known as community choice aggregation, which allows a city or town to choose the electricity supplier for residents and businesses within that municipality. We support the bill.
The committee was to have heard testimony on H5897, the Energy Facility Siting Act, or the Stop Invenergy Plant bill. But, at the sponsor's request, testimony before the committee on H5897 has been postponed.
