Environment Council of Rhode Island

...building an ecologically healthy future in a sustainable economy

ECRI's 2020 Annual Meeting, June 1st

ECRI's Virtual Annual Meeting, Monday June 1st @ 5:00pm

As much as we would prefer to see everyone in-person at our Annual Meeting, this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be meeting virtually through the Zoom video conferencing platform.

The theme for the Annual Meeting of both ECRI and it's sister organization, the 501(c)(3) Environmental Council of Rhode Island's Education Fund, is "Building Resilient & Equitable Communities After COVID-19".

COVID-19 has deeply affected the lives, economy, and health of our state. Even though Rhode Island is nationally recognized for its strong response to the pandemic, Rhode Islanders are hurting as we cope with job loss, economic uncertainty, and social disconnection.

This year for our annual meeting, ECRI is hosting a virtual panel to reflect on how a strong recovery plan after the COVID-19 pandemic can help Rhode Island become a more livable, healthy place for all.

The distinguished panelists for this most timely discussion will be:

The program will be moderated by Joanna Detz publisher of ecoRI News.

All those who plan to attend can register here and you will be sent the Zoom link prior to the event.

The Environment Council of Rhode Island wishes to thank the following organizations and people for their support for ECRI and its annual meeting

While we want everyone to attend, and the event is free, we will be asking for donations and looking for Sponsors.

The suggested donation is what we normally charge to attend our Annual Meeting: $40.00. But attendees will have the opportunity to pay what they feel is appropriate, from $0 to "whatever they are comfortable donating."

For organizations and others who wish to help ECRI during this time of reduced fundraising capacity we have two levels of sponsorship, $100 and $200. But again, we are happy to accommodate those who wish to provide greater resources to ECRI.
