Earth Day/Lobby Day at the State House April 27

The Environment Council of Rhode Island (ECRI) cordially invites you to our annual Earth Day at the State House, also known as Lobby Day. This year’s meeting is on Thursday, April 27 in the RI State House rotunda from 3 to 4 PM. We will gather in the State Room on the 2nd floor at 3 PM.

Our honored guests are the Chair and Vice Chair of the Executive Climate Change Coordinating Council (EC4) - DEM Director Terry Gray and OER Acting Commissioner Christopher Kearns. They will update us on current environmental issues and roles that legislation might play in addressing them. ECRI President Priscilla Delacruz and Policy Co-Chair James Crowley will discuss pending legislation and present our 2023 legislative agenda with its top priorities.

Earth Day / Lobby Day is an opportunity for Rhode Island community members and organizations to visit the State House while the general assembly is in session. It is a day for Rhode Islanders to speak with their lawmakers about important environmental and public health issues.
