Conservation Honors to leading conservation, education and green business projects
in Rhode Island for the last 15 years. This year’s Award Ceremony will be

Can you support this event in honor of 15 years? We have included information
about the evening’s events and how you can participate. A member of our team

This 15th celebration of the Chafee Awards focuses on renewable energy developments
in Rhode Island. Rhode Island is on the cutting edge of the wind
power revolution.
Thanks to advanced ocean use planning and private investment
we will have the first off shore wind farm on this side of the Atlantic. Our list
of exhibitors and sponsors includes organizations from the renewable energy sector,
such as Rhode Island based Deepwater Wind. We will also learn about the advanced
planning techniques pioneered by URI that guided this development. Get
your questions answered!

A light buffet and cash bar will be available. More than 125 environmental and
community leaders from Rhode Island are expected to attend.

Please join us on May 8th and sponsor the 2014 Senator John H. Chafee
Conservation Celebration.
