DEM bond issue for $4 million for Fort Adams State Park to be approximately evenly divided between recreation improvements at the playing fields across from Sail Newport, and continuing restoration work at historic Fort Adams.

Back to ResolutionsWhereas ECRI has a long history of support of bond issues that improve the facilities of parks in RI and this ballot question is clearly in the tradition of bond issues that ECRI has supported,
Therefore, ECRI declares it’s support for the passage of Ballot Question #7, the DEM bond for parks:
- Urges RI voters to pass it in November.
- Will issue a press release noting our support in cooperation with those ECRI members most effected by the ballot question.
